Tessa Berger| Former World Cup Play | Director Crimson Athletics
Tessa attended Florida Gulf Coast University on a Division I full athletic scholarship, after receiving over 40 100% scholarship offers, studying majors in business management and accounting with a concentration in entrepreneurship. She earned a perfect 4.0 grade point average, gaining prestigious Presidents List honours. Tessa has represented New Zealand on the international stage for the past decade in her chosen sport of football. Most notably, she competed in the FIFA Women’ s World Cup and is currently an Adidas sponsored athlete.
An entrepreneur, Tessa established her latest business venture, The Merchandise Collective in February 2015. Featuring merchandising services that seek to provide worldwide organizations with minimalistic pieces and collections of the highest quality. She currently serves as President of Mahurangi Action Incorporated, a 40-year-old environmental organization, and is the Chairperson and one of six trustees formally consented to serve on the Mahurangi Coastal Trail Trust. Most recently, at 21 years-old, Tessa stood as an independent candidate in the 2016 New Zealand Elections. She was successfully elected to Auckland Council, serving the Rodney Ward.
