Meet the Presenters:
Kim Zwitserloot is responsible for the recruitment of international students at University College Utrecht, where she also works as a lecturer in economics, a tutor (academic advisor with pastoral care responsibilities) and is involved in the admissions process. She graduated from Maastricht University with a degree in international economics and has studied and worked in Mexico and Venezuela.
Elizabeth Zeller is the Team Leader for Admissions, Marketing and Recruitment at Leiden University College The Hague. She is in charge of reaching out to students in The Netherlands and abroad. Together with her team, she is also working on Open Days, and Campus visits for students and families who wish to know more about the university. She was born and raised in Quito, Ecuador, and later on moved to Germany where she did her undergraduate studies.
Denise Nijhuis works at University College Roosevelt (UCR) as Coordinator Student Recruitment and Admissions. She oversees UCRs admissions procedure from start to finish, including recruitment activities in the Netherlands and beyond, as well as admissions policies and procedures. She graduated from UCR with a BA in Liberal Arts and Sciences (Anthropology, Law and Religious Studies) in 2011. After living in Budapest for two years while completing an MA in Nationalism Studies, Denise returned to Middelburg in 2013 and has been working in recruitment and admissions ever since. Outside UCR she serves on the Council of International Schools (CIS) Webinar Committee and as Vice-President for Professional Development of the International Association for College Admissions Counseling (IACAC).
