What is AI Scholars?
Artificial intelligence is the defining technology of our times, powering radical innovation across industries such as healthcare, education, transportation and more. AI Scholars 2019 is a pre-college enrichment program for students in grades 9 to 12 developed and imparted exclusively by alumni and graduate students from Stanford University. This 8-day (32 hour) program focuses on experiential learning and guides students to work on a socially impactful AI project. The program was completed across leading international schools and is now coming to Dubai this Winter 2019!

- Go through pre-college preparation workshops on project storytelling, CS/AI undergraduate program preparation, and essay writing.
Curriculum and Faculty
The curriculum is developed by our team from Stanford, and is a project-based exposure to the important subfields within AI. The students use Python and associated AI libraries (Tensorflow/Keras) to build socially relevant AI projects. The first half of the course provides an applied introduction to Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, and Deep Learning, and the second half incorporates a mentor-led project, and college-prep workshops. The student-teacher ratio will be about 9:1.
